Grape varieties: Albana
Claterna is produced from pure Albana grapes in organic regime using ancient clones present in the company and selected by Luigi Perdisa in the late sixties.
The selection harvest is manual around the beginning - mid September.
It's a wine with excellent structure that can express its full potential after aging in the bottle for 1-2 years.
Pairings: cappelletti in broth, shellfish, fish broth

VINIFICATION METHOD
The fermentation occurs spontaneously with a “fermentation foot” in amphora thanks to the indigenous yeasts naturally present on the grapes.
The wine is then refined in steel and amphora for about 6 months.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SOIL AND VINEYARD
Our Albana vineyard is located in the Poggio Alto estate in medium-textured soils with clay, sand and silt.
The surface area is approximately 1.6 hectares and the altitude is 95 m above sea level with rows oriented North-South.
The particular and favorable microclimate characterized by a high temperature range day-night and excellent ventilation in the summer
period, allows us to obtain quality grapes and complex wines characterized by high acidity, freshness and longevity.
