Palazzona Di Maggio

WineHunter rewards our Dracone

Post del Comune di Ozzano dell'Emilia su Facebook:

Excellences of Ozzanesi: the wines of Tenuta Palazzona di Maggio.

For four generations the Perdisa family has been caring for the vineyards on the Ozzanese hills from which some excellent quality wines are extracted: Maleto, Ulziano, Dracone, Dracone Riserva, Le Armi and Aspro.

The last generation of Perdisa winemakers is formed by Alberto Perdisa and his children who, with passion, professionalism and great tenacity, follow the estate and the cellar. “The success of a local company can only please us – says the Mayor Lelli – and when the company is particularly keen to keep its origins and the bond with the territory firm, we are doubly happy”.

The Perdisa family feels this bond very strong, so much so that they commissioned a new label for the Ulziano wine from a graphic studio in which the tower of San Pietro, symbol of our Municipality, has been reproduced, with the stylized inside written OZZANO.

“As a municipal administration – continues Lelli – we enthusiastically accepted Alberto’s invitation to visit his winery to present the new label and together we toasted with Ulziano.

This new label will make Ozzano known throughout the world. “As a demonstration of the excellence of the Tenuta’s Ozzanese wines, Dracone will be awarded the gold medal at the Merano WineFestival which will be held from 8 to 12 November next. Heartfelt congratulations from all over Municipal administration.
